Powering Pinal County:

Tax Dollars & Your Community

Lunch & Learn- March 24, 2026

There's been a lot of discussion across Pinal County about how personal property taxes from energy projects are assessed, where that revenue goes, and what these investments mean for our communities.

On March 24, 2026, TWW was pleased to host a lunch & learn event to help answer many of the questions surrounding these issues. TWW’s Andy Tobin was joined by Arizona economists Jim Rounds and Luis Cordova of Rounds Consulting Group, who provided a presentation on how the taxes from energy projects flow. Then former Mayor of Eloy, Micah Powell moderated an informal fireside chat and live Q&A with Jim Rounds, Luis Cordova and land specialist Kirk McCarville.

See below to watch the video of the event.
